This is our 2nd spring with our wildflowers in the front yard and they have been even better than last year. The bluebonnets are on their way out sadly, but lots of natives coming up behind them to take their place. Snapdragon, cosmos and sunflowers coming along nicely and all benefiting from almost 3 inches of much needed rain this weekend. Peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers and watermelon should be producing by the end of the month. Fingers crossed. Also, I built a frog pond in the front yard with lots of horse-herb and rainwater for them to hang out in. Happy Easter!

Do you spend a lot of time weeding the wildflower beds? I’ve tried wildflowers but the weeds take over if I’m not vigilant…
