  1. japanese store tend to just have better guitars for cheaper prices, like any les paul you find there that’s made by a no gibson brand for $600 is most likely better or equal to the gibson variant, it’s quite cool

  2. The “instrument” is a guiro, a percussion instrument played either by dragging the stick along the ridges or simply tapping it like a wood block, they’re usually made of wood but some are made of plastic

  3. From what I’ve seen in videos the Japanese guitar shops win hands down, they seem to give it a little set up before you leave with it and make sure it’s playable. Where as in the us I don’t think you really get that unless you order from sweetwater.

  4. Definitely the Japanese store over Guitar Center… but I buy all of my guitars at Wildwood in Colorado. Japan has a lot of cool stuff that you can’t get in America, so that would be really fun to check out.

  5. Personally i love tuning a guitar myself. Like they should obviously do it for you, but it gives me a tiny ego boost when i tune by ear and see the snark confirm I'm like 3/4 right lol

  6. Hey, I have a weird question. Do you have any guitars I cloud have for free? I’ve always wanted to have an electric guitar, it ok if you don’t.
