I put my light almost on top of the dome when I 1st start them sprouting. I use to have the same problem, now I don’t.
ETA: That light isn’t enough for 1 flat, maybe a potted plant.
Why are they still under the humidity dome?
Edit – also that’s a very weak little light
The light is too far away, but I think that even if it was a lot closer, it wouldn’t be bright enough. The seedlings take a whole lot more light than most people think!
Need way, way, way more light for those seedlings and take the dome off as soon as they start sprouting.
Skip the humidity dome. Upgrade your light. For like $60 you can get a trio of small LED panel grow lights for seedlings. Spend $100-200 and you can get a real LED panel that will grow lettuce indoors till you have heads that will rival the farmers market.
That light is maybe good for 4 sprouts when its about 2″ above them.
Need way more light and way closer. Also why is the dome still on them? Take that off as soon as they germinate.
Take off the dome. That’s just to help seeds germinate. They need ALOT light than whatever it is you’re using.
Yeah the dome has to go as soon as the seedlings are above the soil.
