  2. Hey Barbara! Fairly new subscriber. I’m in zone 7a Arkansas. I’m all about β€œto do” lists! If I didn’t have a list, there would be a lot of things that would be forgotten. ❀

  3. I’m so glad you mentioned onions. I started a bunch from seeds but haven’t planted them out. I’m going to get them out this weekend. I thought it was too soon. I’m in zone 7b NY.

  4. Love the list! I’m in Dalton Georgia and I’m sowing my green beans today! Thanks for your videos. I appreciate the time you take to help us.

  5. Girl, I wish I could show you the corn that I planted barely a week ago! Those things are almost touching the grow light — I'll have to up-pot them very soon. Also, I'm in zone 6A (west-central Ohio), and I have a few cold season crop seedlings which I think could go outside, but our last estimated frost date isn't until April 20th. Do you think they would be safe if I go ahead and plant them outside? Also, my seed potatoes are chitting away, and I would love to get them planted, but this newbie is scared to put stuff outside only to lose it. Your more experienced advice would be comforting and helpful.

As to the checkpoints listed in this video, I agree that it's a great idea to have a checklist of things to get done/prep for the upcoming season. I have already used a handfork on my growbags and tubs, but will definitely turn the soil over again before adding more soil, compost, and fertilizer when it comes time to plant. I've bout the first few bags of soil and compost already, and will get more when I can. I am really so freaking excited and hopeful for this growing season.

  6. I can't plant my tomatoes and peppers out yet.Its been hot all year,in the 90s in Feb.Unusual.Another cold snap.Snow in mountains around us.I'm in 9b.Down in 30s.I have up potted twice.Move into greenhouse at night, out by day. So,I can amend my beds and outside plots.Busy Busy.Thank you Barbra, very helpful video.

  7. I’m growing peas and I think of you every time I snack on one and skip (frolicking) πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
