Dying/dead alocasia

hi everyone

have had this alocasia for about a year now, it came in standard soil and didnt seem to do too well, so i moved it into a mix of 25% soil 25% perlite and 50% bark

ever since it seemed to do even worse (though it did grow a new pup that died a few months later)

this is how it looks atm

as its planted in a terracotta (which i used in order to let the soil air out as easily as possible), i cant tell how damp the soil is, and i water it once every 5-10 days, depending on the weather

what do you suggest? could i save it?
