Document everything and just learn about the critters
It’s hard to keep saltwater ecospheres alive without aeration
As someone who has a thriving 3 year old saltwater setup, I can tell you that without a bubbler in there, it’s going to end up in a big stink within a week.
You need to simulate the ocean and that means movements nonstop.
There’s not enough air in either of the jars. Provide as much airspace as there’s substrate.
I can’t say much to all the stuff that’s in there, if it’s decaying material or something living, but you’ll find out one way or another :).
Also, keep it VERY low light.
