My father recently purchased a $400 AUD greenhouse off TEMU.

We have assembled it and had to make a couple adjustments to make it stronger since it's made from weak aliminium frame.

I noticed most greenhouses use these small thin metal clips to hold in the see through panels and there are previous reddit posts about alternatives since the wind can easily blow the panels out.

we tried using the clips but didn't meet out standards of "quality"

So we went to our local hardware store (bunnings) and tried using selleys fast cure adhesive sealan which has worked a treat.

We tried a cheaper version but as expected the panels didn't stick for long before peeling off.

Just put a bead of this stuff around the border of the panels and it works great if your willing to spend the extra on your greenhouse

  1. Do it. I waited until I had windstorms and blew the windows out. So I since put a secure lock on the door, so it could not get blown open and I used really good RTV sealant on the panels. Much improved structural stability.
