I didn't realize when I started some parsnips last year that they're difficult to germinate. I ended up trying a bunch of ways to start them. This one was from the first batch I directed seeded and sprouted way late. I didn't think harvesting last year would be worth it since I wasnt seeing any sign of the root, so I let them overwinter. It took me over 30 minutes to dig this one up lol

Parsnips are nuts. Plant if you need the soil broken up.
