It is a double-flowered pomegranate. Double-flowered varieties of plants are less likely to set fruit (and this is no exception), either because such flowers are sterile or because the pollinators cannot access the reproductive structures.

There are pomegranates with mostly male flowers.

Definitely looks pomegranate, although with how double the flower petals are makes me think of ornamental cherry varieties, with extra-showy but nearly infertile blooms.

I just google lensed mine to find out it is a “Mock Pomegranate”. While the bloom is awesome, I was moderately disappointed at the “mock”part!

As others said it’s a pomegranate, could be a natural mutation or it is an ornamental variety like ‚Maxima Rubra‘ which has a similar upright growth and filled flowers, should have more of those but I guess it’s still early season even in Florida. Mine just start to grow new foliage (in Germany).
