CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — Penn State Extension Master Gardeners in Clarion County are offering a free, hands-on gardening program designed to help residents grow their own fresh, healthy food.

The program, titled “Seed to Supper,” is a beginner-friendly course that teaches adults how to grow fruits and vegetables on a budget while building essential gardening skills.

Classes will be held at the Clarion County YMCA and will run from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the following dates:

April 16
May 14
May 21
June 18
July 16

Participants will learn the full gardening process, from planning and planting to maintaining and harvesting crops.

Organizers note that attendees are expected to commit to all five sessions to get the full benefit of the program.

The program is part of Penn State Extension’s ongoing efforts to provide practical education and resources that support healthier lifestyles and greater self-sufficiency in local communities.
