I posted in this sub a while ago asking for advice on my very lanky FLF. I got some great advice and decided to give it a chop.
It now has two beautiful bushy branches! I think the part that’s surprised me the most is I was able to propagate my chop. It’s about 3 feet tall and I really didn’t expect much.
I got a little more brave when I saw that it was sprouting roots, so I gave it a chop still not expecting much and now my propagation also has two branches!
Just wanted to say thank you to those who gave advice in this sub and if anyone else is scared to chop, don’t be!
The soil I used is called Fiddle Leaf Fig Soil by Perfect Plants. Don’t mind the sun damage on some of the leaves on the original plant. He went through a bit of a shock when I moved him to a sunnier location but he LOVES it now.
I’ve attached the original picture and what they look like today for reference.
