Looks great, what did it set you back for the day? As we get older, this becomes more and more attractive

How much was a rental for the day?
RojoandWhite
Seriously, how much for the day? I moved 15 yards myself with a wheelbarrow last fall.

Where did you buy the bulk compost?
drunk-tard96
Is this to level your lawn or just adding compost??
Vapechef
What’s up with the fence
RepresentativeRun567
Looks like it didn’t tear up the lawn either. The tracks didn’t do damage?

Niiice saw these at our Hd. Kinda want to play trucks too

For anyone looking at rental on machines it’s generally much cheaper to rent for a week than a day if you have extra projects (if you look at per day costs). You can also rent different attachments.

The gray that fence is so pure. So gray. You need a new fence.
boringlightrailride
Was there much of a learning curve in learning how to use it?
How’d you get it home from the rental place, you had a trailer?
phatgrunt
Did you get it delivered or pick it up?

I like using sand to lvl my lawn.
BocaHydro
Install sprinklers, plant fruit trees, nice little yard

Love that beast! I’ve used one every few years for various reason, mainly clearing my woodline….Will need it again after some tree work to move the earth around again…

I bought a compact tractor a few years ago, absolute game changer for projects at the house. Moved 350yds of material last year to build up my front lawn.

Whats the dirt for? Is it some seasoned dirt?

Do you need to haul it yourself or do they do drop off and pick up?

Anyone else intrigued by the fence pattern?

I wish we had top soil like that near me. All I can get is rocks and sand with dirt mixed in.

What? I didn’t know you could rent that from Home Depot! I’ve been needing to do the same thing with my lawn (half acre). I got a quote from landscaping company just out of curiosity and they said $3800 😂
OnlyTime609
Don’t be gentle it’s a rental! I didn’t know Toro made a little standup skid steer. Used to work for a landscaping company. I miss driving all the machines
I rented one to remove some grass, move 8 yards of dirt and 4 tons of rock and it was amazing. I wish I owned one.

Welcome to the journey of a lifetime. We stand behind you as you bring beauty to an otherwise dull world.

Just FYI, many sunbelt rentals don’t count the weekends. Rent on Friday and return Monday for a 1 day rental cost. Was super helpful when renting a stump grinder and an articulating man lift.
OpportunityGold4054
Why were you putting that stuff on your lawn?
Practical-Study-4337
Are you in Texas?

I’d plant a few big shade trees. Nice work getting the lawn level.

I used one of these to level this little hill in my house. Ended up being 25k lbs of dirt in the end. Can’t imagine what it would’ve been like with a shovel and wheels barrow
sg425
What did you use as fill? Compost/top soil mix, just soil or just compost? I’m going to do this, this year as well. I’m just looking into specifics
3nthusedCamper
Ugh I’ve been putting this off for like 3 years. It would be wise for me to get my ass in gear
