Hi everyone

First post here and total beginner that juat printed my first tower and got it going. So I just got going with the seedlings and since I live in Sweden is like to get LED that are strong enough during the dark days (which we have plenty off). the ones I find are damn expensive and I'd like to DIY some solution for it that's as cheap as possible but string enough to make the plants grow (mainly sallad). Any suggestions? I can wait for AliExpress or Taobao in China if that makes it cheaper.

cheers

I am also a beginner and i think we are practically on the same point in progress. I got a tower recently from Vevor that came with lights freshly assembled. Where are you interms water nutrients? I am from Finland btw.

You need a lot of light. 7 to 8 hours of high intensity. I use Barrina T10s. You could probably get away with t5 pucks. They come with a magnetic back. Up the light time to 10 to 12 hours if you go with something really cheap.

4 pack of the Barrina T5 pucks cost $35 USD.
Not sure what it would be for you. I got mine directly from the Barrina website

What are you growing? Probably want T5 lights at least. I have a tower similar to that and I use the long barrina t5 and then 3d printed stands for them so they stand up
