Believe this is Threeflower ticktrefoil. It has a deep taproot and can re-root from nodes, so you meed need to do a combination of manual removal and herbicide!

Grona triflora, known as creeping tick trefoil or three-flower beggarweed, is a plant in the family Fabaceae. It is a global species native to tropical regions and introduced to subtropical regions..
It looks like you have a solution to your weed problem already, specific I.D. might not be necessary.

It looks like some sort of trefoil.
Mine had yellow flowers and almost completely overtook my lawn.
You don’t even realise it’s so widespread until you start trying to lift it up and realise it’s everywhere.
It says it’s safe to use on buffalo but it contains dicamba which can kill buffalo.
So if like me your lawn is buffalo be careful.
In my case I wasn’t worried about the health of the buffalo because the weed was already killing it and I wanted to replace the buffalo with couch anyway.
In the end the buffalo survived but was brown for a long time.
