So … a month after I added burch wood for my GALS I got a huge mushroom like these small ones growing in my coco substrate. I removed it and two weeks later the substrate is full of spore and small ones coming out. Note that I have hundrets of isopods and white tails in the enclosure for cleaning. They love Lokis poop and his food ofc. I don’t think I want more of them. I know the best way to remediate the situation is if i were to remove the top layer of the substrate but am sure I will be taking away the criters too. I would also need to regulate moisture in the soil. What do I do? Ofc I don’t want to just throw them out since these are not native species here. Do I freeze the bag first? Am thinking that I could make terariums with some of it. Have you ever had these mushrooms before?
