Got this plant off FB and got it home. Couple of rotted roots I already took off, it came in moss so I was going to put it in semi hydro (since I’ve never worked with moss before) and that’s when I noticed roots. Will she bounce back in semi hydro or should I just stick her in water for now? Just looks odd to me so I wanted some opinions! Thanks!

How are the remaining roots? Is the rhizome still firm?

At first glance I was thinking “I’ve never seen roots like that before on lettuce… ”
I think either way will work
