Hey folks – I’m in low country, SC and just had some zoysia sod installed last October. Most looks great, but there are some brown patches.
Pics show healthy side, questionable side, close up of most prominent spot.
Our AI overlords tell me it’s large patch fungus, but before spraying a bunch of fungicide, I was hoping an actual human might be willing to give it a look. Thanks!

Looks like dry grass, luft the square and check the soil moisture wuth your finger
Hard to fully tell but it’s not bad to put a preventative coat of fungicide down. Last thing you want is that to spread or get in the mower and really spread in the yard. Maybe go granular first and put it down and around the spots.
