Follow up on Jolly Green Giants that did not get planted.

Hello! I made a post a week ago about my plans to install jolly green giants. I dug out holes 12’ apart and prepped for it. I then made a post after a last second thought about a fence that it would end up destroying.

After feedback and research I opted for juniper Spartans, doubled the amount of trees and spaced out 6’ between the previous holes. I additionally widened holes to 24” diameter minimum as opposed to 12”.

Pine straw was spread 4’ or so both sides of the center of the trees. Watered everything thoroughly before, during, and after.

I got an above ground irrigation setup I plan on installing on the borders for the first 9 months or so. The internet gives me a wide range of how often to water. Thank you again if you made it this far!
