Hey, first post here.

Picked up this Banksia ‘Sentinel’ a few weeks ago and put it up on my rooftop. The area gets sun all day from 10 through to sunset.

A few days ago I noticed a few of the smaller leaves at the base were yellowing, and this morning I’ve checked and the yellowing has made its way up the stems-something is clearly wrong but I’m not sure how to diagnose it.

It hasn’t been fertilised, I know to use a native fertiliser when I do.

The yellow leaves aren’t limp indicated overwatering, they are as brittle as a healthy green leaf.

I’m leaning towards iron deficiency based off some stuff I’ve read online.

I’ve kept it in its pot to let it get accustomed to the spot and fully intend on repotting it.

Anyone have any advice?

I’m a novice gardener so take this with a grain of salt, but it may be getting cooked on that rooftop. Try moving it to an area with afternoon shade, and see if it likes it?
