Hi! I’m very new to violets, so far I’ve had them in their tiny initial pot and have been watering them every week by letting them sit in room temperature water bowl for ~30 mins.
Today the pot I got for them finally arrived – it’s the “self watering” kind for violets, with an outer pot for water and an inner unglazed terracotta pot. What I’m wondering is, how much and how often do I fill the water pot? Do I keep it filled at all times, or only do it for a bit and pour the water out? I know this may be a silly question, but I don’t want to overwater them.
