I have these white ‘fluffy’ looking growths on my Port Wine Magnolias. They seem to be suffering by showing signs of thinning and darker stems. I’m in Newcastle NSW. How might I save them!
Picture isn’t great on my phone but looks like you’ve got mealybugs (small white/grey bugs) and some “mealybugs destroyer” larvae (big wooly guys) eating those mealybugs. Don’t spray, that many will eat all your bad bugs in a day or two if you let them.
