ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and on Wednesday, Olmsted County will honor children impacted by abuse with a special display.

Officials will put up a ‘Pinwheel Garden’ at Graham Park from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The garden will feature 454 pinwheels, each one representing a child in Olmsted County who received a child protection or welfare response in 2025 to reported cases of abuse.

The pinwheel is the national symbol for child abuse prevention.

The display will be located off Broadway and 14th St SW.

This will be the first time Graham Park will feature a ‘Pinwheel Garden’ to observe Child Abuse Prevention Month.
