upper Michigan they spray bad things from airplanes, all our pine trees died after years here, forest full dead pines now. it very sad. it been very cold lots snow, i finally able get outside do clean up. was 60 sunny. I over did it, so sore today, but worth it.

Youve mentioned the hard pan soil a few times. Would it be beneficial to add gypsum in these areas to help improve tilth? Or perhaps add some compost into the hole when you plant? I'm just curious to learn what you are doing to rectify the issue. I've have some of the same issues and am trying to figure out how to fix those problem areas. Thank you

Seedlings look great. I was inspired by you all to start growing from seed when we moved out of the city to farmland. One of my absolute favorite resources is Outside Pride for seeds. Great price for seeds…they have SO MANY amazing flower seeds, grasses, etc. I planted a huge tray of white swan ech. Without cold stratification and 90% came up.
You have to name the estate
Consider planting some peach daffodils in between the hydrangeas in the front beds. It looks so barren right now.
