Spring on the Homestead | Decorating, Chicks, & Garden Plans

Our spring homestead season is slowly waking up here, even though our future plans still feel a little uncertain. In today’s video, I’m sharing a simple day of preparing our home and homestead for spring.

In this slow, faith-centered video, I’m bringing you along for a real day of homemaking and homesteading as we begin preparing for the new season. From taking down our last Christmas decor and creating vintage-style spring prints using AI, to setting up our brooder for baby chicks, making a hearty egg bake with fresh farm eggs, and revisiting our garden plans for the year, this is an honest look at homesteading in a season that feels both hopeful and unsettled.

A few weeks ago I shared that we may be moving, but for now we’ve decided to move forward with a semi-normal summer here on the homestead. That means focusing on the systems we already have, improving the spaces that need attention, and preparing for spring with open hands while trusting the Lord with the bigger plans.

We’ll talk about:
