So, in the past I have been putting all my chicken manure in with my compost, but since its mixed with pine shavings it takes forever to breakdown. Today, I sifted it through 1/4 inch hardware cloth, which left some straw but got rid of the pine shavings. Is there a way I can compost this fast enough to use in the garden this year?

Depends on how much you have. You’ll need enough mass to sustain it for long enough. Approximately 3x3x3, keep it properly moist, and turn it every other day. Or, if you have a thermometer, turn it when it gets to about 150°. You should be able to get safe-to-use compost in about 30-40 days. Theoretically faster, but I’ve never been able to get it done quicker than about 30 days.
with the state of how terrible most potting soil is now, this would honestly pass as a top of the line medium for gardening lol. I would say use it in an overflow pile or bin.
