Is this the same guy that used motor oil to “stain” the little play house?

How do you prevent the wooden foundation from rotting??

I have so many questions… Why? Why any of this? Why would you make a joist out of two boards NAILED in the middle? Why do you you nails for everything when screws are better in damn near every way? Why are you using abandoned old wood for structural purposes? Why is your cabin door only 3′ tall? Why do you look like a tweaker in both appearance and behavior? Why is your “foundation” a rock and a hunk of wood? Why are you using the world’s tiniest level on a 10 foot span? I gotta stop there before I give myself a stroke

I wonder how long it’ll be til we see a video of this cabin collapsing. Again.

It’s crazy that this isn’t rage bait.

  10. I love having a bad vibe about a video but not enough expertise to say why… only for every comment to explain exactly why this is terrible design

A caveman could do better with those tools

So, we cut down a couple of trees in our yard. They were oaks, 100 feet tall. We used the stumps in different places in the yard, and 2 years later, the stumps are crumbling.

Yes, I live where there’s a lot of snow, but I am wondering, aren’t these stumps going to just crumble, putting the porch in danger?

Next time use flashing and a ledger board with joist hangers.
