I bought my first house last year and spent the past year fixing the inside of the house. I finally have time to work on the outside! I have spent the past week clearing this bed of vinca vine, English ivy, and liriope. I'm only about halfway through, but I'm so sick of pulling them that I decided to go ahead and plant into the first half, then finish up the rest by approaching it from the back. my new little bed will have smooth hydrangea, big leaf aster, white wood aster, cardinal flower, maidenhair fern, green and gold, Cherokee sedge, and violets. I'm so excited!!
