Brachychiton rupestris (Queensland bottle tree) what potting mix to use?

First time owning one of these, it just woke up and is putting out new leaves so I was planning on repotting it since it seems to have lost a lot of soil from its nursery pot. What kind of potting mix should I use? I have pretty much every type of soil ingredient on hand. The mix it came in from the nursery seems to mostly be finely ground wood chips along with some perlite.

Also any care advice in general would be wonderful. I’m planning on putting it outside for the summer in full sun and in a larger pot so the caudex can get nice and fat. I do live in a hot humid climate that gets a lot of rain in the summer also, but I can put it under an awning so it gets less rain on it if it doesn’t like being too wet. Thank you!
