(Ray ) Ray passed away peacefully on Sunday 15th of March 2026, at Beechdale Manor Care Home. Ray was a much loved husband to the late Elsie, and dad to Tony and Melvyn (who passed in 2020). Father-in-law to Sarah and Grandad to Arthur and Louie. Ray was born and raised in Nottingham, a keen footballer in his younger years, and an avid gardener.
He will be missed by all that knew him. Sandra Ann Aston
Passed away on 14th March 2026 aged 80. Beloved wife of John, much loved mother of Terry and Toni, a cherished grandmother to Leigh-Ann and great-grandmother to Courtney. Will always be forever in our hearts and memories. Funeral service held at Swanwick Crematorium Derby Road Swanwick DE55 1BH on 2nd April 2026 at 10.00am.
Burial will be at 11.00am Golden Valley Woodland Burial Ground Newlands Road Riddings. Refreshments at The Queens Head Riddings. We are celebrating her life so please wear casual clothes and bright colours. Family flowers only. Donations to MacMillan Cancer Research.
George Peter (Pete) Barber
(Pete) Pete passed away peacefully on the 8th of March 2026 aged 82 years. Now reunited with his beloved wife Janet. Pete will be so dearly missed by his children Mandy, Sally & Matthew, their partners Andrew, David & Louise, his grandchildren Charlotte, Piers, Theo, Lucy, Alice and Millie, his great-grandchildren Luna, Kit, Iris, Lyla & Margot and all of his family and friends.
A funeral service to celebrate Pete’s life will be held on Tuesday 7th April 2026 at 1.30pm at Christ Church, 6 College Road, Chilwell, NG9 4AS. Followed by a committal and cremation at Bramcote Crematorium in the Serenity Chapel. Anyone wishing to make a donation in loving memory of Pete can do so on the Just Giving page or cash donations on the day.

Martin Neil Bolus
Sadly passed away on Monday 16th February, aged 67. Funeral service to be held on Tuesday 31st March at The Church of The Good Shepherd at 12.30, followed by the committal at Gedling Crematorium at 2pm. The family welcome friends and family to join them at the reception at The Church of The Good Shepherd Social Centre.
There will be a Celebration of Martin’s Life on Saturday 25th April at Mapperley Social Club, Plains Road, Nottingham, NG3 5RH, 7-11pm. Arthur William Hodkinson
Passed away peacefully on 10th March 2026, at home. He will always be loved and very much missed by his family and friends. Funeral service will be held on Thursday 9th April at Wilford Hill, West Chapel at 15:30, followed by a burial at Southern Cemetery at 16:00.

Margaret (Maggie) Morris (Ledbury)

Of Spring Lane in Lambley, passed away peacefully on Wednesday 18th February 2026 aged 93 years. He will be greatly missed by family, friends and neighbours. His funeral service will take place at Gedling Crematorium, on Monday 30th March 2026 at 2pm.
