I wish there were an island somewhere people could live like they’re in the stone ages. No access to any modern conveniences, medicine, or government so they’d stop whining about taxes. You could fight someone to the death to claim a piece of property… You know, because the whole, no laws, no government, no police protection problem…
Taxes are how we have ALL these modern conveniences. Schools, roads, parks, libraries, medicine, police, military, etc… The list is literally endless. Yes, I’d like to keep all my money, but damn…. I also like modern times and not dying when I get sick.
