I have a tiny tiny cabin. The only feasible wall to mount this is a tall narrow corner (it has to be indoors because freezing temps). I know water filter housing shouldn't be oriented on their side. I've googled this particular situation best I can. Just because I didn't see it, doesn't mean it can't be done.

So can I stack filter housing like this? Can the water flow down (as pictured), or up? Or either way?

Will this affect back-washing?

I'm still drawing out my system, so there's a lot about the setup that hasn't yet been decided. I'm just looking for a general answer if this will work. Why? And what should I look out for while attempting to accomplish this.

By the way I intend to use brass fitting, 3/4" RV water hose, and the Culligan hf-360B housing. I want a clear housing to monitor the water filters.

Thank you. 👍

Make sure that you have enough room to change and remove the filters.

Yes. Water pressure will push through it. I have 3 inline, you’re going down from up to get a negligible amount of gravity assist.

  3. Yes, keep in mind they have a direction they expect the water to flow. You may need to turn the mounting bracket around to get them to mount and have the water flowing in the proper direction. Also make sure you leave enough space to service them.

We’re doing interiors now?!! Is that next to the raccoon canon or the pond?

Not enough room to unscrew and change filters… I mean, you can but you’ll get water on the ones below. Logistics nightmare…I set mine inline above a floor drain. Extra filter storage, the case wrench and a towel.
