  1. Star of Bethlehem. Highly toxic and invasive. You have to dig it out and dispose of both it and the soil, because it contains hundreds of tiny bulbs and will come back. Don’t burn or compost it, bag it and throw it away.

    Suggestions for a good gardening tool to remove these without disturbing too much of the surrounding area? So many are happily snuggled up to last year’s new plantings.
