  1. As far as I know the only way to get rid of Bamboo is an herbicide. Round Up will kill it, because it is a grass, but I know it is illegal in many places. My friend's bamboo grew up under the neighbor's house and up through her mattress😵‍💫 I am sure bamboo, ivy and brambles/blackberries will take over the world someday.

  2. It looks fantastic Phil! What a beautiful new view! For those that don’t know or understand if you want plant Bamboo put it in pots like window boxes in the ground or it will take over everything! Phil hope this makes the rodents move on! They’ve lost shelter and food!

  3. The only way to get rid of bamboo is to dig it up. Rent a track hoe and go at it! Then burn it! 🔥
You can cut it but, it will continue to spread.

  4. Great job on the bamboo clear up. Unfortunately, it will never go away. Definitely caution people if you want bamboo for privacy, you plant it in containers that can be moved. If you put it in the ground, it will never go away. Kind of like a yucca plant. 🪴

  5. Thanks The bamboo, yes exciting, m8. If we were closer, I'd get it an dry it and do stuff with it. Nice idea on the water rodent angle, 🙏 maybe the lil tackas'll move off to another place🙏 👏Nice idea, it does well, trimmed a bush that way. Stretchy things to hold a bit larger but, not over weight load, down? Nice work Phil! So far, the jobs a biggin but, you manage. bitat a time. Thanks for takin the time, loveya place m8, stay vertical Eh!

  6. Awesome Phil – you could try tipping large amounts of boiling water over the rhizome area as it starts to reshoot – good natural pesticide free way of getting rid of roots of plants that keep coming back where they aren't wanted

  7. Brilliant job Phil, looks great too, glad to see you have been having fun with your new toy or should I say weapon 😂😂. K🇬🇧❤️

  8. Satisfying work Phil, well worth the effort for the fabulous view. Bamboo is such a thug plant

  9. Yes looks so much better nicer cutting it all away I’d get rid of of some of them trees more wood 😊more views lovely

  10. Running bamboo is pernicious stuff. Hard to totally get rid of. I'm hoping that's clumping bamboo. Hard work to root out, but once it's gone it will be so much better for your garden.

  11. Phil, it's so lovely to hear you sounding so cheerful 😊. The good weather Im sure is helping. Garden is already looking amazing.

  12. Phil, savez-vous que vous pouvez faire des pellets avec les bambous ? Vous avez une machine à faire des pellets, il me semble ? Une manière économique de chauffer le Château.🤩

  13. you can tell from the bumps, on the tree someone had their day with a crossbow. older than Jesus were some of them. By the way I'm working my way backwards looking for split' dogs

  14. Phil you are doing amazing with that land. By August you are gonna have one beautiful landscape for your Charity fundraiser.👍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 God Bless You, stay and healthy 🙏🏻

  15. Problem is because they aren't taken out by the root they will only grow back again. If you borrowed a digger it could have been done easier. You could finish it all and tie it up in large bundles. oh well you do it your way then I hope it works out for you.

  16. You can use a digger with a bucket to get most o the bamboo out, I will be a lot of work though
