Just moved to ten-ish acres of pasture land. I have a vision to create zones – an orchard zone, oak savanna zone, raised bed vegetable garden zone, prairie zone etc. One concern I have is the wind, so I’m looking into windbreaks. I have a preference for native trees and would like something reasonably fast-growing. Ideas??

What state / USDA climate zone?
No idea where you’re located, but I would highly suggest you reach out to your closest land grant university extension and get a consultation recommendation.
To reduce the spread of disease, make sure the trees you plant are biodiverse enough that:
No more than 10% the same species.
No more than 20% the same genus.
No more than 30% the same family.
