One of our many monsteras has this interesting split, where the main root splits into two almost separate plants. One side has huge leaves with lots of fenestration while the other side produces smaller leaves with little to no fenestration.
We have lots of monsteras, but never seen this on any other plant. Curious as to what causes it

Just an activated growth node. Sometimes this can happen when pruning it for propagation or other purposes but that looks like a growth node that just activated for some reason.
