  1. Did you know you can grow Loofah? You can eat them in their tender growth; peal them after the Loofah is huge and brown. You can use them to cleanse anything besides your our own body.

  2. Wonderful video thank you for the great tips. im currently looking for something to put my vegetables and fruits in. im so happy I came across your video 🌿🌱☺️

  3. I noticed on your channel you say that you are in zone 8 but you never say what area in zone 8 there are a lot of zone eights in different states. If you look at other gardening channels they always specify for example they state the zone there in in the state that they're in for example Asia says that she is in Virginia someone else says they're in Ohio someone else says that they're in Texas this would help a lot Thank you

  4. Oh love your video!!! First time watching you….I live in KY and I grow a lot in containers and its great! Anyone can grow at least a little food with some time and work!! Look forward to more videos..

  5. This was great information. *New Subscription as of this video. I am a container grower. I choose containers because I am a handicapped gardener. Potato harvest is easier… I have my landscapers put in my tomatoes and peppers within my front yard landscape because they do better for me in ground. I just fertilize and harvest. Thank you for sharing.

  6. Lots of cheap options for trellis!! One of the best is the old mattress frame from a baby crib…Can usually find these cheap or free if someone is tossing a crib..

  7. Hey Queen. I subbed to your channel to learn how to grow in containers. Thank you so much for this video and information. I’m in zone 8b.

  8. YOU ARE A DELIGHT!!! Love your personality and all your gardening tips! and Yes, I was one of the ones that was So excited about growing something myself that I just wanted to admire it & didn't harvest my plants as often as I should have. 🤦‍♀️😆 But Not this year, I'm going to do it right! Thanks again. I've saved all your Tips in my phone so I don't forget..and you have a New Subscriber!! ❤

  9. Hey sis, happy to find you page. I subscribed. Just starting off my gardening journey… on my balcony ☺️ will definitely be documenting my journey on my channel. I’m so excited to see my first harvest. ❤

  10. This helped me understand why my container plants didnt do well, i used good soil but didnt continue to feed soil . It never dawned on me my plants were starving

  11. My squash and watermelon grew in 10 gallon buckets and they grew and grew. Great harvest and the melons. Omg. I made sure i placed trellises this season. I have already planted from seed again but last summer they took off overnight and kept going. Shared with neighbors and family

  12. Thank you so much for your information. I just retired in September, and I have been enjoying growing a few things. I live in Las Vegas, NV, and the heat isn't much help. Thank you, thank you. thank you!

  13. You have learned so so much in one year. Your video is great for those just starting out & those with little space. One of the best videos I've seen explaining potting size & vertical growing. Terrific job. Please keep up the great work & keep us posted on your crop yields.

  14. I’m growing lettuce ( two in the ground and in a small space) and 1 in a pot ( sheltered). How do you cope with the rain when it comes , where I’m living it has been raining . Will they survive the downpours . I don’t see a shelter over your pots 🌧️🪴

  15. Is it possible for you to use a cattle panel snipped to fit the container, bending it from the container to the ground directly across from the long bean container? This will add support for the plant? This will give it more room to grow and will act as a tunnel to shade the plant.

  16. This video…so helpful and clear. I plan to follow your lead. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and experience.

  17. Buy some more trellises and line your concrete patio with some of them. Then back up some of your containers to them to grow your climbing varieties. My 15 x 15 fenced in raised bed area is fenced with wire fence. I will be growing pole beans on it. Also look at the stackable dollar tree containers. Good for smaller plants. Chives, parsley and lettuces.

  18. I started some Yukon Gold potatoes in a 20 gallon grow bag in February. They’re looking tall and healthy and are starting to produce tiny flowers, which I think is a good sign. I’m hopeful that I will get several potatoes from this bag. I love container gardening, but also have some tomato plants and onions in ground.
Keep up the good work 😍

  19. Brilliant advice. I use bamboo sticks with twine tied at the top for teepee trellises. Additionally containers are excellent for potatoes and sweet potatoes…makes harvesting super easy.
