We are struggling to plan our garden and wondered if anyone can help, please? East is upwards (i.e. the front of our house points east).
On the plan, the blue area is where we have the shed.
The thick red line (its straight in real life) is a tall wall/fence probablty 8 to 9 foot high.
The yellow area is where we get the evening sun.
We'd like a patio area in the evening sun for a sofa, with a pergola over. We'd also like another patio area thats in the shade in the daytime for a small table and chairs.
We keep our bins alongside next doors garage (241).
Otherwise we need a play area and some borders. Our daughter doesnt like riding her bike so we don't need a big area of glass. We are getting rid of the swing so just need somewhere to put her slide and toy box.
So far all we can think is to put a square decking area in the yellow bit. And a border round the whole garden.
But that doesnt seem very interesting… can anyone think of anything creative??
