Spring is finally here and we’re getting our backyard garden ready for spring planting. In today’s vlog we’re preparing our spring garden, planting flowers, working in our raised garden beds, and building a brand new flower bed in our backyard garden. Gardening is my jam and this season we’re excited to grow more plants, flowers, and vegetables as we continue transforming our backyard.
This video is part of our garden journey and backyard transformation, where we’re slowly turning this space into a beautiful and functional family garden. Today we’re doing some spring garden prep, planting colorful flowers, shaping our garden beds, and showing the progress of our growing garden here in Southern California.

Good luck with the hydrangeas, never could get them to grow in SoCal but in Seattle they grew like maniacs. I think it's too hot down there.

Looking good! I enjoy watching your channel. You mentioned the insects (gnats?)…. A dryer sheet repels them. I usually put one under my cap/ garden hat.

You are going to have to move that Rosemary plant. I planted it in my 8 x 4 garden bed Sept 2024 and that plant is now to my waist and is almost half of that bed. I don’t eat that much Rosemary but I do prune it back and donate some to coworkers, friends and family. It just brush my hand over it and smells heavenly while I’m out there in the garden. Have a blessed and prosperous garden season
