I acquired this beaut yesterday at a garden show. Two of the very long vines have peduncles, extending about 3 feet (2nd pic). Should I somehow wrap them along the top or can they be trellised? Just looking to secure them some kind of way to avoid future tragedy.
Also there is a vine with roots attached with a peduncle closer to the top. Am I good to chop the part with roots? Im guessing girl got too ambitious and probably rooted to another plant at some point.
Grower said she’s around 3 years old.

That’s the largest callistophyla I have seen! Roots on vines can also indicate the plant was grown in high humidity. There’s no need to chop that part but if you want to, you can.
I often wrap the vines of my hanging hoyas up onto the hanger. But you can also trellis it if you prefer that. There’s really no right or wrong answer there. If it has peduncles and they are close to blooming, my advice would be to leave it alone until they do and appreciate the blooms before making a lot of changes to it. Changes can result in the plant aborting the blooms if they are active.

First, congratulations on your most fabulous new Hoya, she’s just perfect! As for what to do with those long vines you could do either, wrap or trellis, but if it’s possible to trellis I’d probably go with that – more room for its new leaves to grow freely, and less of a tangled up mess. About that vine with roots you can definitely chop and propagate, or add it right back in to the same pot, *but, with a peduncle – is it budding? If it is and you’d like to see it blossom you should wait to cut until it’s done, and if it’s not, have at it! : )
