I want to stray away from using the rise gardens nutrient system and I’ve had these maxi nutrients for a bit as well. Rise states I need to add thrive along with my sprout nutrients, but is that necessary? I only ask because I don’t have it at the moment and just have the sprout nutrient. If I move on to a completely different brand do you have any suggestions on which route I should take in doing so? Thank you for the help.

I tried many many brands in different hydro systems (nft and dwc) and athena nutriens did the best in every scenario. They are also pretty affordable in my opinion. If you are a beginner maybe their blended line will fit you, its a bit more expensive then the pro line tho. All the nutrien plans are optimized for cannabis but they also work well wih other heavy feeders like tomatoes and so on.

Use the Maxi, they’re pretty good. However, check pH. My RO + Maxi = 4.9 pH so I’ve switched over to RO + Masterblend = 5.8 pH.

  3. Maxigro is all you need. Just start at 1/4 dose (about 1/2 tsp per gallon of water) and slowly increase as needed.
