Montoursville, Pa. — The Penn State Extension Lycoming County Master Gardeners will host their annual plant sale in May, offering a wide selection of plants while raising funds for local programs and the Lycoming County Sensory Garden.

The sale will be held at a new location this year inside the barn at the Lycoming County Barn, 59 Beach Road, Montoursville. Hours are scheduled for Friday, May 8, from 12 to 5 p.m., and Saturday, May 9, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., or until sold out. The event will be held rain or shine.

Shoppers will find a variety of native plants, perennials, annuals, vegetables, herbs, houseplants, cacti, and succulents. The sale will also feature curated garden bundles, including a rain garden bundle, pollinator garden bundle, and cut flower garden bundle. The list of plants can be found here.

In addition to plants, the event will include arts and crafts, garden-related yard sale items and food available for purchase.

Master gardeners will be on site to answer questions and provide guidance, including an “Ask the Master Gardener” area and a “Plant Doctor” booth for diagnosing plant issues. Free educational presentations will be offered Friday at 2 p.m. and Saturday at 11 a.m.

Proceeds from the sale support community education efforts and garden projects throughout Lycoming County.

Cash, check, and credit cards will be accepted.
