A Leamington-based charity is looking for volunteers to help support its allotment garden.
The Esther Project is a gender-specific initiative dedicated to supporting women experiencing mental health challenges, escaping domestic abuse, recovering from addiction, transitioning from prison, or facing homelessness.
The charity is searching for volunteers to help with its allotment on Friday afternoons from 1pm to 3pm.
The allotment is a vital wellbeing space for the Esther ladies, as part of the charity’s support programme.
The Esther team shared: “Now the sun is gradually coming back out, we need to tidy up our allotment after a very long wet winter, to make our allotment beautiful, productive, and thriving again.”
Tasks include weeding, planting, maintenance, and general upkeep.
Gardeners, green-fingered folk, or complete beginners are all welcome and no prior gardening experience is necessary.
