Contemplation Games is developing and publishing the upcoming cosy creature-collector and ecosystem-recovery game, Garden and a Goat! This single-player title places players into a little friendly robot’s life as it helps heal the world.
The relaxing and casual gameplay opens up as players rescue animals and help the ecosystems recover. Every garden that is helped gives the robot local animals that will join it in its mission!
Everything begins with the removal of weeds and rubble; then, adding plants and attracting the local wildlife! As the animals visit, the robot can feed them, pet them, and decorate the area to encourage them to stay around.

There are some rare multiverse variants that look exotic. These are harder to get the attention of, as there’s a secret requirement that needs to be met!
There are various tools at the player’s disposal, from a cheerful drone to tech consoles. As they scan and harvest Data Gems, they can trade them in for more plants, decorations, and animals.
It’s not only the gardens that can be spruced up — the little playable robot has various cosmetics that can be unlocked to change its appearance! All these little features unlock as the ecosystems are revived.

If this sounds like something you’d like to check out, there’s an open beta available on Steam right now! It will run until the end of the month. If you do try it, please remember to leave some feedback!
Garden and a Goatis planned to release to Early Access sometime in the summer!
