Garden Fork has only been open for seven months, but it’s already drawing steady crowds of families in Brentwood Bay.
What began as a simple breakfast spot has since expanded into a full-service restaurant, now offering lunch and dinner as well.
“Honestly, people come here for our breakfast, and we are proud of that,” said Garden Fork manager Truman Nguyen.
“We always want to serve our guests with a fair portion of food – everyone compliments us on how big the portion is and how much we care,” he said.

Owners say their focus is straightforward, fresh high-quality food, generous portions and friendly service. It’s a formula that appears to be working and drawing in families
“It’s based on the idea that we are right by the Butterfly Gardens and Butchart Gardens, so we want our restaurant’s brand image to be friendly, of course. Everything’s fresh,” said Nguyen.
The restaurant is also making an effort to give back to the wider community.
Earlier this month, Garden Fork hosted a burger night fundraiser, donating proceeds to the community of Tumbler Ridge.
The initiative reflects what staff say is a core value, supporting communities beyond their own.
“We’re also thinking of another plan to donate to a high school for their prom’s event coming [up]. So we are doing everything to tighten and strengthen our bond with the community here in brentwood bay,” said Nguyen
Garden Fork is located at 6719 West Saanich Rd.
