The White House will open its gates to the public for the 2026 Spring Garden Tours on April 18-19.

WASHINGTON — The White House announced on Friday that it will open its garden and grounds to visitors this spring.

The 2026 Spring Garden Tours will be held on Saturday, April 18, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Sunday, April 19, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Visitors will have access to the South Lawn of the White House, as well as the Rose Garden and the White House Kitchen Garden.

The event is free and open to the public, but tickets will be required for all attendees, including small children.

You can get tickets from the National Park Service for free.

The timed tickets will be distributed at a tent outside the White House Visitor Center located at 1450 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC, 20004, near the intersection of 15th and E streets, NW.

Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Secret Service can also seize or prohibit any items beyond those listed.

Strollers, wheelchairs, umbrellas (no metal tips), and cameras are permitted.
