The Butte Garden Club will meet at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at the Butte-Silver Bow Archives, 17 W. Quartz St. Three programs are planned.
The main speaker will be Krista Berg, who will show her perennial and vegetable garden on Yale Avenue. Berg has had her garden for the 14 years she has worked at the Petunia Factory. She will share her expertise regarding her planters and hanging baskets that are in her front and backyard gardens.
Gretchen Geller, who has a historic home on West Broadway Street, will show her 30-year-old garden. She also has a secret rock garden between her home and garage that includes succulents, asparagus, rhubarb and perennials.
Diana Widhalm will talk about growing orchids, which are easy to grow indoors and have a long blooming period.
Visitors and guests are welcome. Attendees are encouraged to arrive at 5:30 p.m. for some snacks and to meet with other gardeners. For more details, contact Norman DeNeal at denealnorman@gmail.com or call 406-723-6656.
