  1. This channel is turning into a daily gardeners world. She'll have different presenters on different parts of the property all doing different things!

  2. I consider it officially Spring when Laura plants up the Persephone garden! I look forward to it every year. Beautiful as always 😊

  3. I feel it in my veins…..I need to get outside and start cleaning….in need a shoulder replacement so this year is going to be tricky.

  4. Just wondering if you’d ever consider planting the surefire cherry cordial? It’s not really red, looks more like a deep coral with the really dark leaves. I haven’t planted it myself but I could imagine it being really pretty with some dark purple or blue

  5. Good morning! It’s so nice that you can cut grass & plant Spring flowers. Still to chilly here in northern IL.

  6. wow!! what an incentive to try growing from seed! if i did my math right, lol, 50 plants (based on the price of a 6 pack at a big box store here in socal), a flat of 50 would be about $21 or more… nurseries would probably charge a little more here… that's quite a savings, especially if you're planting in big blocks like Laura does… certainly worth a try! and they look so pretty.. can't wait to watch them fill out… love it when Aaron starts working on the grass; i share the video then with my husband which is kind of hilarious since we only have this one tiny front yard of grass here, haha.. but hey, it still needs some fertilizing! looks like the string algae is coming in strong, too, lol… love how the kids will get involved with helping to clean it out!! 🥰❤thanks for the video!! 🥰❤

  7. The Pansies look absolutely fantastic and really full. Do you have more than one seed in each cell or did you end up thinning those out? Would you say overall pansies are super easy to grow from seed?

  8. I love it that sometimes you plan things out but then end up shifting gears and shoot from the hip. And it almost always turns out great and if it doesn't you rip it out and try something else. No fake projects. Real live life. Thanks!

  9. That was a lot of pansies! But all from seed so your hard cost was low, just your time and that part is a pleasure. How lucky you are….and we are that you take us along.

  10. I completely understand your happiness with your Violas started from seeds. Each year when I start my vegetables from seeds and proud to say so!💚

  11. I look forward to getting up every morning and having my coffee while watching you and your family. You inspired me to start gardening more and it has brought such joy to my life, so thank you. Just wondering if you will ever start shipping to Canada as I would LOVE to try those paper pots but can’t seem to find anyone else who sells them. Would love to support your family more by ordering directly from you. Thank you again for for bringing such joy to everyone’s lives every morning. ❤️

  12. The plants are so beautiful and I look forward to seeing them mature in the landscape.

The lawn looks better and will benefit greatly from the fertilizer.

Samantha is a hands on girl. She has great interest helping her parents around the property.

Thank you for sharing. Have a great weekend!.

  13. Great job Laura, such satisfaction knowing you started from seed. It is pretty now but will be stunning in a few weeks.❤

  14. Can I ask how many times Aaron filled the hopper to do the entire grass on the property? That was a lot of Tree Tone and how often will he do the lawn fertilizing in a season?

  15. All those cute pansies and violas from seed! I would be proud also 🙌🏻. I’m growing Rudbeckia hirta from seed and I have so many 😮 ! I think I’ll use some at my church to fill in empty spaces in the beds. Taking care of 2 landscapes is challenging-I can’t imagine having all your space. 😊

  16. Aaron is such a good Dad. It looks like the kids love to be around him. Especially Benjamin when he is using any machinery. So cute.

  17. Pansies galore! Have you ever thought of removing the bricks and planting grass or keep the 4 edged in brick and remove center with gravel to eliminate the hard water stains?

  18. I started pansy’s in January. First time. There’s a couple blooms. Probably gonna put them out soon

  19. Laura do you ever plant the wrong color in wrong place. Its like making a quilt. Do you rip out or just hope no one notices. Ha ha

  20. It feels so rewarding to grow plants from seed and have them look that beautiful! Question, will you do it again next year? Maybe a different variety? I love the pansies you have with your agave that overwintered. Nice to get two seasons out of them.

  21. Love how the seeds came out and how many you planted looks so beautiful makes me want to start planting from seeds I’m in SoCal zone 10b. Aaron is so good on the yard after seeding what was that machine he used afterwards like a roller on the grass? We have had a heat wave this week and next awful for March. High 90’s next week high 80’s.

  22. You home and gardens are so beautiful like a grand estate! Pansies and violas don't do well here in the summer heat, so I can only plant in the mid to late fall in 9b far northern ca!

  23. I can't wait to see the pansies and viola all spread out. Also, the money you saved growing them from seed is awesome. It's going to be beautiful.
