In the first pic, is it in a cover pot with no holes in the bottom? Take it out, if so. You want to encourage gas exchange at root level. Pot covers are responsible for SO MANY avoidable plant deaths.

Well, try to get it (gently) out of the pot and check the roots. Smell them so it doesn’t smell rotten and check so it’s not rootbound.
