So backstory, my first Adansonii almost died from overwatering and not enough light. every single plant in these photos are from that OG one.
When I cut it up I put most in water but planted two into soil. The OG plant and soil cuttings took off so I put them together with a moss pole (photos 5&6) They're now huge and at the top of that pole.
The water ones I planted after a few months and originally they started getting bigger but now they're getting smaller and smaller.
All plants get the exact same light (except the ones i put outside to see if it helped, it didn't). They're all in east facing windows and it's the end of summer here. They all get GT foliage focus at most waterings.
Surely a moss pole doesn't make THAT much of a difference?? They're smaller than when trailing so I'm confused!

Being end of summer means that your days shorten, so that may be one possible culprit.
Now, I’m talking from my own experience, but I found it that Adansonii cand handle more than just east. Mine stays 1m away from the South(your North) facing window and is just fine. And yeah, with moss poles. Didn’t grow one without, to be able to compare, but I can attest to the fact that it rooted in there like crazy and feel like it helped it upsize to the rate it did. Though I wouldn’t say that it wouldn’t size up at all without one.
