The popular beer garden in Monterey announced it will be changing ownership.Fieldwork Brewing Company in Monterey said its lease is expiring and it will not be renewing it. In its place, Out of the Barrel, a Bay Area taproom, will take over, and a Fieldwork employee said the transition will be seamless.One day it will be Fieldwork, and the next it will be Out of the Barrel.There is no date set yet for the final day of operations.“To our regulars, our neighbors, and every traveler who stopped in for a sampler, thank you for turning a collection of steel boxes into a vibrant community hub.
